Skin Problems During Spring

Skin Care Tips for Spring Skin Problems

The increase in temperature, UV rays, pollen and dirt causes sebum to increase and our skin becomes oily. This is why skin troubles frequently arise during Spring.

Also as we tend to become more active during the warmer season and we stay outdoors, our skin loses water from regular outdoor activities and so the outer skin becomes oily and dehydrated. Sound familiar?

Below are a few issues that we can handle.

Q: Oily Skin causing issues?

A: As I mentioned above, sudden increases in the temperature causes our hormone secretion to become very active. The dirt and pollen in Spring also tends to provide various skin problems and we should remove unnecessary sebum and waste by cleansing and supplementing with water for our dehydrated skin.

Remember to use a foam cleanser when washing your face and apply skin toner right afterwards to prevent dryness. If you use highly effective astringent (gentle pore minimizing) skin toner, it helps to adjust sebum secretion and reduces the oil on your face as well as preventing further skin problems.

Q: Rough skin doesn't go away?

A: Skin toners may not be enough if your skin is too dry. Maintain moisture balance by using moisturizing essence as well.

When putting on makeup, protect your skin by using base makeup products that contain enough moisture and face and body liquids containing plenty of mineral oil.

Q: Stinging Sensation after basic skin care?

A: If you feel like your skin is stinging after a basic skin care routine, try putting on some suncream as the base.

So there you go. Some simple skin care tips on handling the effects of Spring and warmer temperatures.
